"The Moment" Limited Edition Prints

This drawing was inspired by a talented photographer called Rick the Muse who offers his likeness as a muse to artists. This particular reference drew me in with the dramatic lighting and shadows, and the depth of his eyes was mesmerizing.
To the artist, the expression is showing the moment before something happens. This could be the moment before an enlightening and meaningful conversation or the moment before a tense game of poker. Her inspiration is celebrating the little moments in life just as much as the big moments. Each little moment adds up over time. Her goal with this piece was mostly to capture the contrasting values and keep the expressiveness of his face without focusing too much on the details.
